Our practice combines physician administered anesthesia with anesthesia care team services utilizing hospital employed CRNAs.
We have eleven anesthesiologists, all board certified or in the certification process, and one boarded anesthesiologist who provides pain management services at our pain clinic.

Bristol Regional Medical Center (BRMC), the area’s premier health care facility, is a non-profit regional health care facility serving as a medical referral center for Northeast TN, Southwest VA, Southeast KY and portions of West Virginia. In January 1994, BRMC occupied its new 377-bed physical plant location on 140 acres at the intersection of I-81 and US-11W.
In July 1996, BRMC merged with Holston Valley Medical Center to form Wellmont Health Systems. Wellmont has since acquired Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA, Hawkins County Memorial Hospital in Rogersville, TN, Takoma Regional in Greenville TN, Jenkins Community Hospital in Jenkins, KY, Hancock County Hospital, Sneedville, TN, Lee Regional Medical Center, Pennington Gap, VA, Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Norton, VA and Wythe County Community Hospital in Wytheville, VA. Wellmont is continuing to form alliances to better serve the health care needs of the region.
Patient care at BRMC is provided in more than 30 specialties and subspecialties by approximately 190 physicians who offer a comprehensive array of healthcare services including acute care, outpatient services, cancer care, cardiac care, emergency services, women health services, human performance and rehabilitation, wellness/health promotion, psychiatric care, occupational health and a variety of other specialized services. All surgical services except transplants, complex pediatric surgery, and burns are offered.
